Graduated from SSUŠD art school in Prague.

Czech painter, known under the artistic pseudonym Rosier, is dedicated to art since 2006.

Now she mainly creating abstract paintings, but her work also includes portraiture.

Finding inspiration in nature, the patterns of the microscopic world and similarities to the structures of the universe, further down the line in the psyche and mysticism.

Paintings are a personal emotional statement and a visual representation of the inner world.

Abstract paintings on canvases are created by combined technique of acrylic paints, ink, loose pigments of golden shades and relief gel.

Great emphasis is placed on contrast, a structure that gives the art pieces more depth and changes the images depending on the lighting and the angle of observation.

This is supported by the use of chrome pigments and gloss and matte effects.

Series "Happy Accidents"

In life and in art we do not make mistakes, but only happy accidents.

Paintings are like life, I can have a vision, an intention and an idea of what it will be like, but during the process I have to accept that everything will be different.

Despite the influence, the result is unexpected, but at the same time exactly as it should be - perfect.

And the essence of perfection is in imperfection.

series into the deep

This darker series is a set of abstract canvases that is a cross-section of work over four years.

It is an interweaving of several smaller series exploring the depths of the soul. They offer an insight into the inner processes of the artist, who draws her inspiration from her own inner transformation processes, from the depth psychology of the personality of Jung's teachings and combines this with the fascination of the structures of the universe and their similarity to the microscopic world.

portraiture

Tereza had a passion and talent for portrait drawing from an early age, and this was immediately reflected in her work.

She has been focusing more on portraits since 2012.

A significant part of her work was focused on the topic of pinup art (in the years 2012-2019).

These images are filled with femininity and sensuality.

Between 2015 and 2020, Tereza is also involved in performance art as a burlesque performer, and this is also reflected in the themes of her paintings.

The technique is a combination of pencil drawing,

watercolor, ink and technical pens.

Thanks to this, the paintings have a rather graphic character with a distinctive handwriting.

This type of artwork became very popular among fans in the Czech Republic, but also found a significant number of buyers abroad, especially in Australia and the USA.

For the American House of Roulx, which focuses on providing art to collectors, Rosier created two series:

Portraits of the "Femme Fatales of Rock".

Debbie Harry, Amy Winehouse, Madonna and Ellie Goulding.

Portraits of "the most iconic and charismatic figures in contemporary American art".

Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and

Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Furthermore, a portrait of Alice Cooper was commissioned for House of Roulx

"THE GODFATHER OF SHOCK ROCK"

whose prints were sold in small numbers with his own signature.

These works found their place in several beauty salons in the Czech Republic, but several canvases were also created for a beauty salon in LA, California.

Rosier created both delicate female portraits and erotic pinup art, but fans of a wider range of pop culture, specifically popular comic book and film characters, musical and artistic icons, also found their way.

You can find portrait work in Prague's Sad Man's Tongue bar and Black Bettie's grill, for which portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Bettie Page, Lemmy Killmister, the icon of the Czech silver screen Vlasta Burian and Jaroslav Marvan, Oldřich Nový and Adina Mandlová were created.
